Satisfied with this time. Really hard map, mostly due to how hard it is to get consistant jumps. The one on the big turn after the big dive is especially frustrating due to the pipe being juuuuust high enough to make you ponk on it most of the time. Giving this vehicle some love. This run was really hard to get, I've had at least 7 54s before this. Sunlit Warrior might still be faster but I don't want to snipe it back with it this soon. Lap 1 : 20.077 Lap 2 : 16.960 Lap 3 : 16.585 God I am spending way too much time on a demo. Guess it shows that this game is really good.

To be fair, it's confirmed that Ace Pilots in the demo are nerfed compared to the full game (their AI isn't fully built yet) but this just shows how even without most of the techniques you see in time trials, you can hold pretty well. You need to do some advanced stuff, but it's not the technical hell that TT is. Much like F-Zero GX actually. Beating Ace Pilot is only the start of mastery.

Ok lap 2, insane lap 3. The second grind on lap 1 is what makes sub 1:24 possible, I don't know how to shave another second unless full game releases with a better vehicle or a different grind route is found. Lap 1 : 31.969 Lap 2 : 26.675 Lap 3 : 25.232

Kinda surprised the Sunlit Warrior is a viable machine. Why is this the case?
Overall good stats, great attack and the best body in the demo, allowing for more grinds and better ones. Its only failure is that it's not ultra great at diving, but that is not much of a problem on most maps. Spin grinding is really op currently, with it basically allowing to reach 2.7k speed really fast in lap 1. Problem is that some vehicles either lack the attack stat to reach it quick or don't have enough hp. Sunlit Warrior is good at both.
@@taechuKthat attack stat is also a huge deal in Grand Prix. You don’t have competition at the front if you’re one-shotting anyone who comes remotely close to you.

There are no hats linked to that achievement. Achievements and hats are separate.

There are a few hats that require beating levels on hard mode. Maybe those are it? There's a hat for jumping off the ship after beating the final boss on Insane.

Run -> Jump -> Throw -> Jump Attack if I remember correctly. It's pretty precise, both in timing and in position/angle. Should work on all versions.

@@mindless9750 just note that this run was done on 1.1.2, which, unless you are already on it or are able to mod your switch to downpatch to a specific one, is not available anymore, so there might be stuff that doesn't work for you. The most popular patches for speedrunning are either 1.0.0, 1.1.1 or current patch (1.2.1).
